I’m the happiest in my job when…

When I’m working on a project in which I believe, using technology that is familiar to me.

When not working, I indulge myself in…

I love hanging out with my friends. When I can't, I like to play sports, bake cakes, or learn (for studies or for personal growth). When it's raining, I like to play video games.

Every day I visit…

Stack Overflow. Not for its wealth of answers, but because I want to help people. Not only do I get to be helpful for people with similar issues - I also get to learn in the process. Almost everything I know about iOS development I learned at Stack Overflow. I also visit the GitHub Trending page hoping to find new, awesome third-party libraries for my future projects.

My favourite mobile app is…

Tweetbot. It's miraculously stable. It’s the only app in which I haven't experienced any bugs or crashes. Its UI is intuitive and has smooth, non-intrusive animated interactions. I could go on and on…

My technological guru is…

Andy Matuschak (@andy_matuschak), a former Apple developer, who worked on UIKit. He left it after 8 years and joined Khan Academy, a non-profit education organization, as a Lead Mobile Developer. He's also a fan of immutable declarative programming and gives lots of brilliant speeches.

I first took up development when…

I first took up development when I was 11 years old (5th grade). I was playing a browser MMO game and became curious about how it works. That's when I started learning Macromedia Flash. Shortly after that, I made my first game and website. A few years later I started learning web stack, including PHP, HTML, CSS and JS. Then Apple introduced iOS 4 and here I am, developing mobile apps since then.

Recently, I’ve been inspired by…

For ideas, I seek inspiration from video games. For design inspiration, I visit Dribbble and Google's Material Design Guide. I love it!

My greatest success at work was…

Ending my juniorship after only one and a half months. Also, thanks to my project I discovered a whole new world in programming (declarative, functional and reactive programming). This was a huge win for me, as it completely changed how I perceive programming challenges.

I couldn’t live without…

Food and coffee.

If I could give some advice to myself on my 1st day at Netguru, I’d say…

Short and sweet: please DO attend your Maths classes, despite the fact you got a job.
