Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve managed to squeeze in time to work on our homepage redesign. Although at first we didn’t feel in need of a total makeover, our ongoing effort to make the site even more pleasant to look at has won. Finally, the D-day has come and we’ve clicked the ‘deliver’ button!

Let’s recap the redesign. What has changed?

Our purpose was two-folded. First, we wanted to achieve sleek and more mobile friendly design. Secondly, our aim was to migrate from tumblr to our own-crafted blog.

We got the look

Mateusz (as always!) handled the visual layer with great care. With a little help of Twitter Bootstrap on one end, and his custom design on the other, the site gained more responsive and recognisable look. How do you like our new slider and the gururocket? (yep, we do love to deploy often!)

Besides visual appeal, our goal was to make it easier to for you to find all the information you need. Especially the career tab undergone more than a few tweaks here and there. Take a peek to discover our open positions as well as perks & benefits waiting for you at netguru.

Blogging nation

Although we do love tumblr socialtwist, over time it became obvious that maintaining the custom theme will give us some hard time. Instead, we’ve decided to migrate to our own domain and from now on, we are blogging from our own Ruby engine. Kudos to Alex for his work - thank you sir!

Please feel free to share your thoughts about the new design. As always, this is not the end!
