This time, it was all about the guests. We had two presentations from people who don’t have the opportunity to be presenters at PRUG meetings.

We debuted with Krzysztof, who showed us vert.x. It’s a technology completely outside our regular Ruby-scope, but it is always interesting to take a look at something we don’t know, as it inspire us to do things in our own community. It turns out that we can even use our beloved Ruby with it!

You can watch the presentation here - PRUG videos (Polish only).

The second presentation was about something very very recent in our tech community - “Can you TDD Rails?”. Andrzej, in an interactive presentation, covered things like why are we afraid to do TDD, why sometimes our development process is based on fear, and many more cases.

See Andrzej's presentation on Slideshare.

After the second presentation there were such intense discussion that I didn’t manage to present my small lightning talk.

But no regrets here, we’ll see each other next month!

Don't forget to join our PRUG meet-up in June !
