On April 24-25th, our team visited Gdańsk for yet another edition of free Ruby on Rails workshop. Now, after we spent a weekend on coding by the sea, there’s nothing more to say than: what an awesome event it was!
Hi gals and guys,
Hania has already mentioned that some April workshops took place in Gdańsk. Now, after we spent a weekend on coding by the sea, there’s nothing more to say than: what an awesome event it was!
Eager for the details?
At the workshop we focused on learning Ruby on Rails, thinking outside the box and developing 3 awesome apps in teams led by our developers.
This time we had the pleasure to invite 12 participants from all around Poland including Gdansk, Warsaw, Katowice and Wrocław. Teams of 4 got the chance to dive into the world of programming. Our superb coaches Krzysztof, Michał and Robert showed the participants some best practices and shared tips and tricks on how to develop working apps. And here is the outcome:
Robert’s team: Kasia, Aleksander, Justyn and Michał
Stud-helper is an app that helps students manage their notes and allows them to share with others. Also, you can vote for your favorite lecturers and add comments to their profiles.
Krzysztof’s team: Mateusz, Kamil, Michał and Mateusz
Taskpol is a user-friendly, fast and efficient alternative to project management tools such as Jira, Trello or Basecamp - you can create and manage tasks.
Michał’s team: Gabriel, Dominik, Paweł, Marcin
Thanks to Phizzy, physiotherapists can now easily assign exercises to their patients.
And now, a few credits and trivia:
PS 1. Special thanks to Mateusz and Jakub for their support during these workshops. You definitely added extra awesomeness!
PS 2. Our workshops can be inspiring too. Jakub couldn’t sleep after the afterparty and needed to transform his stream of thoughts into a blog post. Wanna read?
