Project Manager at Netguru

A Project Manager is a bridge and facilitator between our stakeholders, clients, and the dev team. Your role is to manage communication and the whole process of building the apps themselves.
About PM team

At Netguru, we’ve successfully delivered over 500 projects for clients all around the globe. If you want to help us with the next thousands to come - join the team of over 50 Project Managers to work in an atmosphere of knowledge sharing, friendliness and productivity.

Technologies & tools we use

Technology is not only the core of our job, but also helps us to plan, organize, and evaluate projects. These are the tools and methodologies which we use:

  • Agile as a Project Management Methodology,
  • Jira as an Issue Tracking Tool,
  • Confluence as a Knowledge Repository,
  • Google Suite
  • Toggl as a time tracking system,
  • GitHub for monitoring daily progress,
  • Slack for communication,
  • Salesforce for gathering business information,
  • and many more.

We are open to new tools and solutions, we constantly test new solutions that allow us to keep our retrospectives fun, plannings efficient, and daily tasks management easy. We make sure every project team is well-equipped with a tailor-made choice for the challenges they face.
Potential tasks

As a PM, you will be at the frontline of communication with clients and within project teams. You will be managing 2-5 projects simultaneously and one of your main tasks will be to coordinate, support, and motivate teams. You will be working in an agile framework based on Scrum, yet will have the flexibility to adjust it to specific project and client needs.

You’ll need to make sure that the budget is properly tracked and, together with progress, is clearly communicated to the client; that the project’s risks are identified, and, most of all, that the team understands what the client wants to achieve with their product - the business value - and that we clearly focus on delivering it.

Workshops with clients to gather more information needed for product development and better planning are also in scope of a PM’s duties (occasional travel is involved). Aside from working on projects, we also find time to work on internal tasks, such as optimising our processes, sharing knowledge, reviewing new tools or recruiting new project managers.

It's all about people. Let’s hear them out.

  • What I like the most about Netguru is that there is a lot of trust - you are empowered to do what you think is the right option for your project and team; every process or best practice can be challenged if you think they do not fit your situation.

  • When joining a big, remote-friendly company with distributed teams I didn’t have high hopes for chit chats, bonding, and team building. I couldn’t have been more wrong! I’ve always received any support I needed, and I’ve formed strong bonds with people I’ve never seen in real life.

  • From the very first day at the company you realise the power of Netguru’s culture, and you can feel welcome and safe. On every corner you meet people who are happy to help you grow and no one demands from you to be omniscient
